Community organizations are often given access to people's stories, struggles, families, hopes, and vulnerabilities. Concrete Blessings Foundation believes that access creates responsibility. Community members should never be treated as content, statistics, marketing material, or fundraising tools simply because they have experienced hardship. Our goal is to create environments where people are treated with dignity, informed about how their information may be used, and given meaningful choices about participation.

STORIES BELONG TO PEOPLE FIRST.
Lived experience is central to the Concrete Blessings mission, but personal stories must be handled responsibly. Participants should not be pressured to publicly disclose traumatic experiences, criminal histories, medical information, recovery histories, family matters, or other deeply personal information as a condition of participation. Whenever stories, photographs, recordings, testimonials, or personal experiences are considered for public use, appropriate permission should be obtained. Individuals should understand where content may appear and how it may be used whenever reasonably possible.

CONSENT
People should understand when a conversation is private, public, photographed, recorded, or distributed.
CHOICE
No participant should be required to tell their story.
DIGNITY
Stories should not be presented in ways designed solely to shock audiences or exploit hardship.
CONTEXT
A person's most difficult experiences should not be presented as their entire identity.
OWNERSHIP
Participants maintain ownership of their personal experiences even when permission is granted for specific media use.
RESPONSIBILITY
The desire to create powerful content should never outweigh the responsibility to protect participants.
COMMUNITY SAFETY & RESPECT
Concrete Blessings Foundation seeks to provide programming environments that prioritize dignity, appropriate boundaries, respectful conduct, and responsible participation. Harassment, threats, intimidation, exploitation, discriminatory behavior, inappropriate sexual conduct, violence, retaliation, and deliberate violations of participant privacy are inconsistent with Foundation values.
Individuals participating in Foundation activities may be asked to leave or may have participation restricted when conduct threatens the safety, dignity, or integrity of the program.
PROTECTING YOUNG PEOPLE
Programs involving minors require additional responsibility. Concrete Blessings Foundation is committed to developing appropriate safeguards for youth programming, including parental or guardian authorization where required, appropriate supervision, responsible communications, media consent, volunteer screening when applicable, and clear expectations for adult interactions with young participants. Youth programming will expand only as the Foundation develops the capacity and safeguards necessary to operate responsibly.
YOUTH MEDIA RULE
Photos, video, interviews, names, or identifying information involving minors should not be publicly distributed through Foundation media without appropriate authorization and consideration of the young person's safety and dignity.
KNOWING OUR ROLE
Concrete Blessings Foundation recognizes that community support has boundaries. Staff, volunteers, peer leaders, speakers, and community participants should not represent themselves as licensed clinicians, attorneys, medical providers, financial professionals, or other regulated professionals unless they actually hold the appropriate qualifications and are operating within their authorized role. When needs extend beyond our role, appropriate professional or community resources should be identified whenever possible.
EVERY PERSON DESERVES DIGNITY.
Concrete Blessings Foundation seeks to create inclusive community environments where individuals are treated respectfully regardless of background or life experience. Discrimination, harassment, or deliberate exclusion inconsistent with applicable law and Foundation values should not be part of our programming.
CONFLICTS & RELATED ENTERPRISES
Concrete Blessings Foundation recognizes that its founder and future leaders may also participate in businesses, creative projects, professional activities, or other organizations outside the Foundation. Transactions or collaborations involving related businesses or individuals should be handled transparently, documented appropriately, and reviewed based on the best interests of the Foundation and the communities it serves. Foundation resources should not be used primarily for private benefit, and commercial relationships should remain appropriately distinguishable from Foundation activities.
CONCRETE BLESSINGS FOUNDATION & CONCRETE BLESSINGS FOOD CONCEPTS
Concrete Blessings Foundation represents the community-impact and mission-centered side of the Concrete Blessings ecosystem. Concrete Blessings Food Concepts and Chef Rafa represent separate commercial culinary and hospitality activities. The organizations may collaborate on approved community initiatives when appropriate, but commercial catering transactions and Foundation programming should remain clearly identifiable to participants, customers, partners, and supporters.
BRAND & PROGRAM IDENTITY
Concrete Blessings Foundation is developing original programming, educational materials, media concepts, program names, visual identities, workshop frameworks, and community-engagement models. These materials represent significant creative and organizational work and should not be reproduced, redistributed, rebranded, commercially exploited, or represented as another organization's work without authorization.

CO-BRANDING NOTE
Collaborative programming should clearly identify participating organizations and should not imply endorsements, funding relationships, ownership, sponsorship, or institutional approval that has not actually been granted. Partner logos, names, photographs, and trademarks should only be used in accordance with appropriate authorization.
